We are working on creating one right now. For a temporary fix find our website on your mobile phone, then go to settings and click on ‘Add to Home screen’ and you now have a quick link to our website.

Q: Is my boat insurance covered if I book a mooring with Moorings4U?

If you are planning on leaving the boat attached to a mooring unattended it is advised to contact your insurance agent to let them know. If you are ever unsure around insurance we recommend you contact your insurance agent to get their advice directly as Moorings4U hold no liability.

Q: What happens if there is a boat attached to my mooring/jetty when I arrive?

In the unlikely event that another boat is attached to the mooring you have booked contact us immediately through the contact us page on our website. Also please take a photo of the boat and be sure to include the name of the vessel in the photos.

Q: When do mooring bookings start and finish?

All mooring bookings start and finish at midday.

Q: How long does it take for payments to reach my bank account?

Payouts are processed the day the booking is completed, however it takes four business days reach your bank account. For example, if the booking was completed on Monday (or during the weekend) you will receive your payout by Friday.
Note: Your first payout generally takes 7–10 days. This is because it usually takes a little longer in order to establish the Stripe account.

Q: What happens if a storm is brewing the weekend I've made my booking?

In the unlikely event you would like to cancel your booking we will refund the full amount less booking and banking fees up to 48 hours prior to the booking date. Any cancelled bookings within 48 hours of the booking date will not receive a refund.

Q: What price should I choose for my Mooring/Jetty?

That is completely up to you. You set the daily price, but you can also change the price for periods of time. For example, you might choose to lower your price during the winter periods and have a higher price during the holiday weekends.

Q: Why do I need to connect with Stripe?

You only need to connect with Stripe if you want to add a mooring or jetty. We have partnered up with Stripe to facilitate all the money transactions and store your bank details.

Q: How much does it cost to register my mooring or jetty?

There is no cost to register your mooring or jetty with Moorings4u. For every booking we take approximately $5 and 3.9% from the total. We say approximately because firstly Stripe take their fee for facilitating the money transactions and then we take ours and it's basically $5 and 3.9%.

Q: I've added a mooring or jetty, what do I need to do now?

Basically nothing. Boaties will book your mooring (you'll receive a booking confirmation email) and once that booking is complete your booking fee will automatically be deposited into your nominated bank account.

All you need to manage is what dates the mooring will be unavailable (for example when you plan to use it) and whether to adjust the price during high and low demand times.

If your question still hasn’t been answered please contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
